❀Some photography tips and tricks❀

Lesson 1: How to make a white box by yourself?
Here are some illustrations I drew to help you understand it better.

❀Lesson 2:Add a copyright watermark pattern to your photos
1. Open a blank document in photoshop (6 inches x 4 inches). For "Background Contents," set it to "Transparent," then click OK.
2.Select "Type Tool," and enter your copyright information. For example: " ©  2015 Celina Wang photography." you can press Alt key on Windows or Option-G on a Mac to type the copyright symbol. If it doesn't work, use Google to find one and copy it.
3. Use "Free Tranform" to rotate and resize your text. When you are done, press enter.
4. Go to Image menu and choose Trim. Select "Transparent Pixels" at the top. Then Press OK.
5. Go to Edit menu and choose Define Pattern. Name your new pattern "copyright" in the Pattern Name dialog box. Press OK.
6. Add a new layer . The new layer icon is at the bottom of the Layers palette.
8. Go to Edit menu and select Fill. Select Pattern for "Contents."
9. Choose your copyright pattern from "Custom Pattern." Then click ok.

❀Lesson 3:smoothing out a background in Photoshop
1. Open up your photo.
2. Using the dropper tool, sample some neutral colour from the photo's background.
3. Using the selection tool to select the whole background.
4. Click "Refine Edge" at the bottom of your screen.
5. Change the following values to this:
-Smooth Value: 3
-Feather Value: 7.5
-Contrast/Expand value: 5
6. Select a soft-edged and medium-sized paintbrush with 60% opacity. Then use it to brush your background. You will get a smooth background instead of one that are full of wrinkles.
